Violets

Violets are an Australian-based classical chamber music group, consisting of Molly Collier-O’Boyle (viola), Anna Rabinowicz (flute) and Melina van Leeuwen (harp).
Much like the creeping, evergreen perennial, Melbourne-based Violets have hit the ground to cover and take up space. Although rooted in the traditional canon for flute, viola and harp, Violets seek to present established repertoire in a new light through concert curation that champions cross-genre collaboration, the femme and the new.
Formed in 2023 by three former students of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), Violets can be heard performing creatively curated concerts around Melbourne.
